Every Bears fan remembers the Jay Cutler days. Some were good, but most were over hyped. Cutler was supposed to be the Bears savior, but only managed to win 1 playoff game with the organization. Cutler is still remembered to be the best QB of the Bears in several years, even with so much disappointment. Now, Cutler is speaking out about the new QB in town, Justin Fields.

In a recent interview with Chicago Sun-Times, Cutler spoke about his time with the team, and his hopes for their future, especially with Fields. Cutler said:

"If the Bears start winning . . . I hope they do. And I hope Justin is successful, and I hope he's the next big thing here and he's the best quarterback to come out of Chicago Bears history"

Cutler wants to see success for his former team, and is cheering on Fields. Even though Cutler is seen as the best QB the Bears have had, he has hopes that Fields will take over that spot.

Cutler also speaks on his worries for Fields, as Fields has gone through similar things that Cutler has, even so early in his career. Cutler mentioned how having inconsistent coaches is damaging for a young QB, and has worries Fields will face the same issues he did:

"It's hard for a quarterback. You look across the league, and the guys that are really good at quarterback have the same coaches and same systems each year"
- Cutler said

Cutler believes that the only way for the Bears to use Fields' full potential is to keep a consistent system with the team, especially by keeping around the same coaches. Cutler wants what all Bears fans want: a winning team.
