This past offseason, the Bears traded away their number 1 pick in the draft for Panthers WR, DJ Moore. With this new addition, fans and viewers have been hyping up this duo, and now, analysts spot a pattern that may occur.
On ESPN's "NFL Live," a graphic was shown that explained what happens when some QBs get a star on their team, and what it does to their stats. Look at the graphic here:
As seen on the graphic, QBs like Tua Tagovailoa, Jalen Hurts, and Jared Allen all showed tremendous improvements after securing a star wide receiver, all in their 3rd year in the NFL. Their rankings went up, and have been able to make a difference for their teams.
Fields, who is also entering his 3rd year, is also shown in the graphic, as experts believe that he will move up on the rankings with the help of DJ Moore. The once sloppy QBs soon became superstars all because of one new receiver. So, hopefully Moore can make this difference, and Fields can be seen as a top QB in the NFL
