From the jump, many reports revealed that Cook was interested in playing for the Dolphins. They have one of the most exciting offenses in the league, but are in need of a running back. Cook is also from Miami, making it seem like a done deal. However, when the Dolphins put their offer on the table, Cook said no.
Why would Cook say no? Well, it seems like the price was not high enough, and even though Cook is in his late 20s and injury prone, he still wants the big bucks. So, Cook is waiting for more money, and will continue to wait until he gets it.
Now, moving on to Hopkins. After being released by the Cardinals this offseason, teams were immediately interested in him. Right now, it looks like the Titans and Patriots are his top 2, but like Cook, we wants the money. Hopkins is 31 years old, and also like Cook, he is injury prone. There have been reports that the Bills are also interested, but only if he takes less money.
Both Cook and Hopkins want the big bucks, but paying an older WR and RB a large amount of money is risky, and I don't know if these teams will do it.
