Kirk Herbstreit Unveils 'Formidable' NFL Wild Card Team That Opponents Hope to Avoid
The Los Angeles Rams secured a 30-22 victory over the New Orleans Saints, pushing their record to 8-7 for the season and securing second place in the NFC West.
This win propelled the Rams one step closer to a playoff berth, particularly against their wild-card rivals, the New Orleans Saints, on Thursday night.
After concluding the 2022 NFL season with a 5-12 record, the LA Rams were not seen as contenders in 2023. They were largely overlooked. However, the team has now won four out of their last five games and is emerging as a serious late-season threat.
Football analyst Kirk Herbstreit believes that this team is the most formidable wild card contender that everyone should be wary of facing in the future.

"This is a young team with some key superstar veterans who are enjoying playing the game and playing FOR EACH OTHER. These boys are DANGEROUS as they move forward."
In Thursday night's victory over the Saints, quarterback Matthew Stafford completed 24 of 34 passes for 328 yards, throwing two touchdowns and no interceptions. Stafford also extended his streak of games without an interception to four.
Despite early predictions of a bleak season for the Rams, they currently hold an NFC playoff spot with three weeks remaining. Additionally, there is a possibility that Matthew Stafford could lead the Los Angeles Rams into Detroit to face the Lions in the playoffs, which would also mark the franchise's first home playoff game at Ford Field.
