Kyle Brandt Reveals why Bears Fans should be Worried about the Panthers HC Firing

As we all know, the Bears have acquired the Panthers first-round pick for the 2024 draft. If the Panthers lose out this year, and finish the season with the worst record, the Bears will have the first overall pick.

By the way this season has been looking, it felt highly likely that the Bears would own the first pick, but now, after the late season firing of Panthers HC Frank Reich, that chance is no longer "as" likely.

According to NFL Network's Kyle Brandt, he believes that Bears fans should be worried:

A lot of times when teams fire their coach mid-season, they tend to go on a hot streak and win some games. If the Panthers do end up getting hot and win, then their record will improve, possibly taking away the Bears number 1 pick.

Though this is a concern, the Bears also have their own first round pick, so if they end up losing out this season, then they can still acquire the number 1 overall selection.
