Panthers have FIRED Former Bears QB, Bears May Want Bring him Back

As revealed earlier today, the Panthers have fired head coach Frank Reich.

In addition to this late season firing, the Panthers have also fired QB coach Josh McCown:

McCown is best known as the QB who has played for what seems like every team in the NFL. He has changed teams a total of 13 times, and never found himself staying anywhere long term.

During his journey as a player, McCown was on the Bears, serving as a backup QB from 2011-2013.

McCown then moved on from playing, and began coaching. He was hired as the QB coach before this past season, but now, he is unemployed.

The Bears may want to bring him back to the team, and serve as a coach. With the way this 2023 season is turning out, the team may decide to part ways from most of the staff, so maybe McCown will be back for 2024.
