Rodgers may choose to follow in the footsteps of Tom Brady and depart from the NFL this year, but the possibility of a trade is also on the horizon, especially now that the Green Bay Packers are thought to be willing to part ways with the four-time MVP after an 18-year partnership. The New York Jets are rumored to be a probable destination for the 39-year-old QB. Nevertheless, former NFL wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald would prefer a scenario in which Rodgers joins the Dallas Cowboys instead, as it would be more logical for him.
During a recent appearance on Mad Dog Sports Radio, Fitzgerald highlighted that the move would reunite Rodgers with Mike McCarthy, who served as the Packers' head coach for 12 years, and place him on a team that is already built to win a championship. While Larry's assertion is reasonable, the Packers have already made it clear that they will not trade Rodgers to an NFC team. Consequently, the Jets are in a much better position.
Furthermore, it is worth noting that the Cowboys may not be interested in pursuing the Packers signal-caller since they have supported their own quarterback, Dak Prescott.
