The Chicago Bears recently agreed to terms on a one-year deal with QB Nathan Peterman.

While this might look like a minor move, at first sight, Peterman is actually a very "famous" player. Indeed, he was an internet sensation a few ago, but not for the right reasons.

Peterman made 8 appearances with the Bills including four starts during the 2017 and 2018 seasons, tallying a 32.5 quarterback rating. He completed 52.6% of his passes while throwing three touchdowns and 12 interceptions and getting sacked 8 times. Some could say these numbers suggest he might not be up for this NFL quarterback thing.

His first career start with the Bills in 2017 is the stuff of NFL legendary status. In fact, Peterman threw no less than five interceptions on 14 attempts in the first half of a 54-24 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. As you could guess, Peterman was benched in the 2nd half of the game.
