Infante believes the team will have 2 first-rounders, and by the way this season is looking so far, I have to agree.
As seen on the list, at number 1, Infante selected WR Marvin Harrison Jr. Harrison Jr. is currently in his Junior year at The Ohio State University. His name may sound familiar, as he is the son of NFL Hall of Famer Marvin Harrison.
Harrison spent his 12 year career playing for the Colts, where he won a Super Bowl, named as a 7-time All Pro, and an 8-time Pro Bowler.
It looks like his son is following in his shoes, as Harrison Jr. is currently ranked at the number 1 spot for WRs entering the 2024 draft.
In just 18 games started so far in his college career, Harrison Jr. has a total of 105 catches for 1,738 yards, along with 20 touchdowns. He still has many more games to be played this year, so we will be expecting to see his stats grow even more.
I think that the best case scenario in next years draft would be to draft USC QB Caleb Williams at number 1, and then hope that Harrison Jr. is still available for their next pick. As long as both the Bears and the Panthers have a bad season this year, then the Bears should be in a good position to draft both.
