Patrick and Brittany Mahomes' son is thankfully okay after experiencing a frightening incident.

Brittany Mahomes took to her Instagram Story on Thursday to share that she and her 8-month-old son, Patrick "Bronze" Lavon Mahomes III, had a "scary and frantic" visit to the emergency room earlier this week. "We took a very scary and frantic trip to the ER yesterday after finding out this guy is highly highly allergic to peanuts," the mother of two wrote, sharing a photo of the infant happily drinking from a bottle.

"It was the scariest 30 minutes of my life," she added. Fans have since flooded Instagram with messages of support and prayers for the family.

In addition to this recent scare, the Mahomes family is also dealing with the fallout from an incident involving Jackson Mahomes, Patrick's brother. Jackson was arrested and charged with three counts of aggravated sexual battery and one count of misdemeanor battery.

The charges stem from an incident at Aspens Restaurant and Lounge, a Kansas City-area eatery, where Jackson is accused of shoving a waiter and forcibly kissing the owner, Aspen Vaughn. The restaurant has since closed, five months after the alleged incident, as reported by the Kansas City Star. Surveillance footage reportedly captured Jackson grabbing Vaughn by the neck and kissing her for several seconds after he had allegedly shoved a 19-year-old waiter.

Vaughn claims that her restaurant experienced a 75% drop in business and that she felt unsafe after the incident.

Despite these challenges, Patrick Mahomes is gearing up to lead his Kansas City Chiefs in an attempt to win back-to-back titles after defeating the Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl last February.
