One of the best running back in the NFL is out for the year

Ian Rappoport reported that Broncos' RB Javonte Williams is done for the year. Indeed, he suffered a torn ACL during Sunday's game against the Raiders.

The starting running back was ruled out of Week 4 with a knee injury after being carted off. Williams went down on the first play of the third quarter, on his 10th carry of the day, and was initially ruled questionable after visiting the sideline medical tent.

Denver had been splitting backfield duties between Williams and Gordon, as they did in 2021, but the former has consistently been one of the Broncos' toughest weapons. In fact, Williams was consistently the highest-graded PFF running back. He is one of the brightest young stars this league has and it,s sad to see him go down with an injury.

Hopefully he is able to come back sooner rather than later...
