After NFL legend Deion Sanders was hired as the new head coach of the Colorado Buffaloes, he did what any coach would do: he made his rules and his conditions clear on the team's members.

Indeed, Sanders didn't mince words when addressing his new team.

Speaking to Colorado's players for the first time, Sanders told players he's "bringing my luggage with me." The Colorado head coach encouraged Buffaloes players to enter the transfer portal.

While those comments didn't sit well with everyone, Paige Spiranac appreciated Coach Prime's candor as a former college athlete who experienced a coaching change.

"Honestly, I love the transparency," Spiranac said. "I was a D-I athlete. After I signed my NLI, they switched head coaches, and in that moment I should have transferred immediately."

Paige criticizes Deion for wanting to impose his son as the starting QB.In fact, Paige criticized the fact that this "baggage" Sanders refers to is his son, whom he named as the starting quarterback.

"What I don't like is your son being the quarterback. I'm not sure about that, but what do I know," Spiranac said referring to Sanders' son Shedeur, who will join Sanders in Boulder, Colorado, and suit up for the Buffaloes.
