Patrick Mahomes Sr. faces 10 years in prison after guilty plea

Patrick Mahomes Sr. was arrested for allegedly driving the under the influence bak in February of this year, just days before the Super Bowl.

Mahomes had been arrested for this in the past, so his sentence could be pretty lengthy. According to TMZ, he has officially pled guilty. Now, he will be sentenced on September 23rd, where he is officially facing a huge sentence of 10 years in prison.

Because of his guilty plea, it is unlikely he will go to prison for 10 full years. However, he may not be able to avoid jail time altogether, like he has done so in the past. Only time will tell what happens to the father of the league's best QB.
