As revealed by NFL reporter Dianna Russini, the Raiders have named Brian Hoyer as their starting QB for Sunday's matchup against the Bears:

Hoyer, who is 38, is currently in his 14th season in the NFL. After going undrafted in 2009, Hoyer signed with the Patriots, and served as the backup behind Tom Brady.

Since going undrafted, Hoyer has moved around from a total of 11 teams, and was even on the Bears in 2016.

In 76 games, and 40 games started, Hoyer has a total of 902 pass completions, 10,668 passing yards, 53 touchdowns, 35 interceptions, and a 16-24 record.

With both Jimmy Garoppolo and Justin Fields ruled out for the game, this Sunday will be a battle of the backups, with rookie QB Tyson Bagent and veteran QB Brian Hoyer.
