"The Chicago Bears have remained pretty quiet so far during free agency. Of course part of the remains the fact that general manager Ryan Pace is still trying to create some more cap space for his team. The storyline continues to be that the Bears are trying to give up a massive kings ransom to trade for Russell Wilson however that's yet to happen. Apparently they were close to getting their quarterback yesterday though. Jeremy Fowler of ESPN reports that the Bears had made an offer for Jameis Winston however the QB decided to stick around in New Orleans. Do you think Winston would have been a good fit for the Bears?
The Bears were a suitor for Jameis Winston before he signed with the Saints, per source. Chicago exhausting all options. — Jeremy Fowler (@JFowlerESPN) March 16, 2021
