Report: Bears Out Of Deshaun Watson Sweepstakes?
The Chicago Bears lost out on the Matthew Stafford sweepstakes and it seems they might be out on another QB as well. While the Bears reportedly remain in on a possible Carson Wentz trade, it seems the Bears are out on Deshaun Watson. It's not just because the Bears have decided to move away but it seems the Houston Texans are unwilling to move their QB despite his very adamant request for a trade. According to Bears' insider Brad Biggs, the Texans have shut down Watson trade offers for now. "In talking to people with a couple of teams over the last couple of days, real doubt remains that this will actually happen. The Texans only stand to lose if they trade Watson. As delirious as some are with the idea of their team acquiring Watson, imagine the Texans front office on the opposite end of the spectrum"Even though it was under different management, you really can't be surprised at the Texans not wiling to take the chance after looking absolutely ridiculous with the DeAndre Hopkins trade.
