As revealed this afternoon, the Steelers have released QB Mitch Trubisky:

Trubisky first entered the NFL after being selected by the Bears with the 2nd overall pick in the 2017 draft.

After a few disappointing seasons with the Bears, where he was deemed as a bust, the team decided to not re-sign him after his rookie contract expired.

He then went on to spend a season with the Bills until signing with the Steelers ahead of the 2022 season.

Trubisky then signed a two-year extension with the Steelers last offseason, but the two are ready for a change and have agreed to part ways. He is now a free agent.
