The Chicago Bears might finally be getting closer to landing their new general manager. We've heard plenty of names flying around since the team decided to move on from Ryan Pace however not much besides initial interviews. However now it seems one of the finalists has been revealed. According to Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer, Kansas City Chiefs' director of player personnel Ryan Poles is a finalist for the Bears job. He rose through the Chiefs' front office thanks to his work with college scouting. Unfortunately the Bears aren't the only team interested as he's also made the short list for the Minnesota Vikings. Poles happens to be pretty close with some of the head coaching candidates on the Bears' list as well which includes former Dolphins coach Brian Flores, Tampa Bay Buccaneers DC Todd Bowles, Dallas Cowboys DC Dan Quinn along with Los Angeles Rams OC Kevin O'Connell. While Poles might be on the early list of finalists, the Bears are interviewing two others on Monday who will also likely be on the short list. Omar Khan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Morocco Brown of the Indianapolis Colts are both interviewing with the Bears today. It'll be interesting to see if any news leaks from today's interviews.
