REPORT: Rams HC Sean McVay Expected To Make Quick Exit Decision Following Failed Campaign
According to Jay Glazer of Fox Sports, the feeling in Los Angeles is that Rams coach Sean McVay is more likely to leave than to stay.
«There's more people inside the building, when you talk to them, they'd be more surprised if he came back than if he left,» Glazer said.
McVay declined to answer any questions surrounding his future with the organization, instead opting to try and keep focus on Sunday's loss.
Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio added some more detail to McVay's potential departure on "Football Night in America," saying that McVay doesn't want to deal with the presumed lengthy rebuild that's coming down the pike sooner rather than later.
After the Super Bowl victory last year over the Cincinnati Bengals, there was speculation that McVay would walk away from the Rams and go into broadcasting.
Per Andrew Marchand of the New York Post, Amazon may have been willing to offer McVay a five-year deal worth $100 million to be the color commentator for Thursday Night Football if he decided to move to television after last season.
