REPORT: Steelers' QB Vehicle Was Stolen With The Steelers' Playbook In It
In an unusual turn of events, Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Kenny Pickett found himself at the center of a car theft incident this week. According to WTAE's Marcie Cipriani, Pickett's 2023 Genesis SUV was stolen while his team's playbook was left in the backseat.
The incident occurred when Pickett was attending a radio interview at a local car dealership near Pittsburgh. Unfortunately, he had left his vehicle unattended in the parking lot, providing an opportunity for a thief to strike. However, the quarterback's panic was short-lived, thanks to the swift response of law enforcement.
Remarkably, the thief made the peculiar choice of leaving his own vehicle behind at the dealership. This decision ultimately worked in the favor of the police, as they were able to track down Pickett's stolen Genesis by running the plates of the abandoned vehicle. Within a mere 30 minutes, law enforcement successfully located the stolen SUV and playbook. The saga came to an end when a male suspect was apprehended at his residence.
