The Chicago Bears have officially requested permission from the Buffalo Bills to interview their assistant head coach and defensive line coach, Eric Washington, as reported by various sources.
Eric Washington, aged 54, boasts a lengthy NFL coaching career dating back to 2008 when he first joined the Bears. He initially started as a defensive assistant before being promoted to the position of defensive line coach in 2010. Following his tenure with the Bears, Washington spent nearly a decade with the Carolina Panthers from 2011 to 2019 before joining the Buffalo Bills in 2020, where he remains up to the present day.
