Roster Cuts: Bears have Released former College Superstar

As announced by the team earlier today, the Bears have released QB Trace McSorely:

During his college career with Penn State, McSorley was named as a 3-time All-Big Ten, the 2016 Big ten champion and MVP, and the 2017 Fiesta Bowl champion and MVP.

Unfortunately, after being drafted by the Ravens as a 6th round pick, he has struggled in the NFL.

Last month, the Bears signed him to the practice squad after QB Justin Fields was sidelined to an injury. However, McSorley never made the active roster.
