Roster Moves: Bears have Signed 3x Super Bowl Champ
As revealed by insider Adam Schefter, the Bears have signed veteran safety Duron Harmon to the active roster:
Harmon was drafted by the Patriots in 2013, and stayed with the team until 2019. During his time in New England, Harmon won 3 Super Bowls with the team and had some of his best years.
Since 2019, Harmon has had a hard time staying for a long term with his new teams. Last month, he signed with the Ravens, but only remained on their practice squad. Now, he is a Bear.
The Bears were looking for some new defensive backs as injuries have affected the depth chart. Harmon is a vet in the NFL and could bring in experience and knowledge to this young team. Harmon is expected to be on the active roster immediately, making him ready to play as soon as possible.
In his career so far, Harmon has a total of 401 tackles, 43 pass deflections, 23 interceptions, and 3 forced fumbles.
