Farniok was drafted in the 7th round of the 2021 draft by the Dallas Cowboys. The 6 foot 5 lineman spent his college days playing for Nebraska, where he was the teams starting guard.
After being drafted by the Cowboys, Farniok signed a four-year rookie contract. He played 12 games his rookie season, but was mostly seen with the special teams.
In his second year with the Cowboys, Farniok played in 7 games with the team, but his season was cut short after suffering a torn hamstring injury, which placed him on the injured reserve.
After rookie offensive linemen passed Farniok on the depth chart this offseason, the Cowboys decided to release him. And about one week later, the Bears signed him.
Farniok is now apart of the Bears practice squad, and has hopes of getting on the field this season.
