Ryan Poles is having a BLAST at his new job
Jason Lieser of the Chicago Sun times took the time to speak with new Bears GM Ryan Poles. He mentioned a few very interesting points. Here are the quotes from Ryan Poles that stood out the most to me:
«It is good to relax a little bit, but your brain's always going. «So your brain never stops. It is good to slow down just for a minute, but there's a lot going on.»
Even though I think Ryan Poles is doing an amazing job until now, he still is new to the spotlight. It's normal that it can be a little overwhelming at times. However, I think he deserves a lot of credit for the way he has handled himself during those first two months.
Finally, he spoke about the place of the Bears in Chicago and the expectation of the fan base:
«I know how much the Bears mean to Chicago. It's a lot of responsibility. But I just want to do a really good job for the city. I want them to be able to go to their games on Sunday and just have a blast. There's pressure with that, but that motivates me.»
