Sam Darnold Calls Out ESPN
Earlier today, Barstool Sports' "Pardon My Take" posted an interview they had with 49ers QB Sam Darnold. During the episode, Darnold spoke about his relationship with George Kittle, the media in New York, and his time at USC.
One of the moments that stuck out however, was when they were talking about how ESPN has treated Darnold.
One of the hosts, Big Kat, asked Darnold about the viral "seeing ghosts" clips that ESPN posted, and asked if he ever got an apology for it.
"No, but you know how many clicks they got?"
He was then asked about how he felt about the graphic ESPN made when Darnold had Mononucleosis (mono). Here is the graphic:
Darnold explained how he did find it funny, but on the other hand, we was very sick and did not appreciate it at first.
ESPN has found ways to bash on Darnold, and though he called them out, he admits to finding them funny, and does not take them too personal anymore.
