Scouts really liked both Ohio State receivers
Nfl insider Jordan Schultz spoke to a couple of Bears scouts and he learned that they really enjoyed what they saw at both the pro day and on tape.
>The Bears really like both Ohio State WRs Garrett Wilson and Chris Olave, who broke the Buckeyes' TD record. There's a comfort level there with Justin Fields, and both have super strong skill sets. I Spoke with a Bears lead scout: «Wilson's a stud. Like a true No. 1. Olave's a touchdown machine."
Schultz also added:
"Perhaps the Bears - currently without a first-round pick - would try and move up for Wilson, who's been mocked inside the top 10. Olave has also risen, I'm told."
I am the first one to be extremely excited about a potential reunion between the receivers and Justin Fields. However, unless one really falls towards to end of the second round and you could trade up without giving a ton, I would pass. Trading up for a receiver in such a deep class like this one is not the way to go. I'm sorry...
