SEE HERE: Bears Fans Make a Case of Why the Bears Should Draft Michigan QB JJ McCarthy
As I am writing this, Michigan and Washington are facing off in the College Football Playoff National Championship game.
At the start of the game, a young photo of Michigan's QB JJ McCarthy was shown, and in the picture, he was wearing Bears gear:
After this photo was seen, many fans and viewers took to Twitter to make the case as to why the Bears should draft McCarthy:
Some of these reasonings do make a lot of sense. He is born and raised in Chicago, so coming to the city he's from would be special.
There are also many rumours regarding Michigans HC Jim Harbaugh coaching for the Bears next season, making this a possible package deal.
Also, due to the high level in QBs this upcoming draft, there is a likely chance that McCarthy will not be a first-round pick, meaning the Bears can still get needed players with receivers and edge rushers, but can then get a QB late.
This would also mean that they can keep Justin Fields and have the two QBs compete for the number 1 spot.
Not sure if I see this happening, but it looks like some fans do!
