SEE HERE: Twitter Reacts to Bears Heartbreaking 31-26 Loss
With 4 minutes left to go in the game, the Bears were winning 26-14 against the Lions. Looked like the game was finished, right? Well, no.
After that time span, the Lions were able to receive the ball twice, and score points twice, including a two-point conversion. They were able to take the lead with only 30 seconds left in the game, after marching down the field.
The Bears lost to the Lions 31-26, and Twitter was shocked, and reactive:
On the last drive effort while down by 3 with only 30 seconds to go, Fields fumbled the ball, which then allowed for the Lions to score a safety.
Though a loss showcases a downfall in the players performance's, it also shows us that the Bears simply got out-coached. In the last few minutes of the game, HC Matt Eberflus and OC Luke Getsy called the wrong plays at the wrong time, and cost the Bears this win.
Justin Fields was simply not the problem, and GM Ryan Poles knows that. Poles, it is time to fire your coaches!
