Super Bowl Champ/Pro Bowler Re-Signing with the Team that Originally Drafted him in 2015
As announced by NFL insider Ian Rapoport, Former Broncos DE Frank Clark has signed with the Seahawks:
Clark was originally drafted by the Seahawks as the teams 2nd round selection in 2015. After 4 great seasons with the team, Clark was traded to the Chiefs before the 2019 season. Clark then signed a five-year contract worth $105.5 million.
After 4 mostly solid seasons with the Chiefs, Clark was released by the team this past offseason.
Shortly after his release, Clark signed with the Broncos, but only stayed with the team for a few months, as he was released only 5 weeks into the 2023 season, after playing in 2 games.
Now, Clark is going back to Seattle, as long as he passes his physical.
In 122 games played thus far in his career, Clark has a total of 265 tackles, 58.5 sacks, 14 forced fumbles, 13 pass deflections, and 2 interceptions. He is also a 3-time Pro Bowler and a 2-time Super Bowl champion.
