It has been reported that the Chicago Bears are planning on cutting veteran linebacker Danny Trevathan. The 10th-year player only appeared in 5 games in 2021 and when he was on the field, he managed a miserable 45.1 grade (per Pro Football Focus).
To save any money, Poles would need to designate Trevathan as a post-June 1 cut, in which case the team would recoup $3.29 million towards the 2022 salary cap. His time in Chicago is coming to an end.
