Gordon will be paired up with Jaylon Johnson for, hopefully, multiple years. Gordon is a great athlete. He ran a 4,52 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine. He is one of the best talking cornerbacks in the class. He's a willing defender in run support who fights hard every single play. He will fit extremely well in Eberflus' scheme.
His motor will fit in well with Matt Eberflus' scheme.
This is actually a very solid pick. We have seen him being mocked a few times to the Bears and it's really nice to see him finally be an official member of the organization. Ryan Poles had the choice to select another cornerback in Andrew Booth (Clemson) but he went with Gordon. This means that Gordon was higher on his draft board! I have to agree, Gordon was very productive in college as well.
