Adam Jahns reported that the rotations continued for the Bears offensive line today. Riley Reiff and Braxton Jones were both at left tackle; Doug Kramer and Sam Mustipher at center; and Ja'Tyre Carter and Michael Schofield at right guard.
I like those choices. I think that Braxton is clearly suited for the left tackle spot and he could benefit greatly from a year sitting behind a proven veteran like Reiff. As for the center spot, I guess you have to give the edge to the rookie Kramer right now in replacement for Lucas Patrick. However, I have serious doubt about his ability to hold up against the strongest defensive tackles in the league. Kramer is not the biggest guy in stature. But, what he lacks in size, he clearly makes up in intelligence and effort.
The offensive line has to play some great football if the Bears want to have any kind of success offensively when the season starts. I also think that Justin Fields' development will rely a lot on whether or not he is able to have a clean pocket!
