The Chicago Bears ARE ON THE CLOCK
With the NFL draft less than two weeks away, the Chicago Bears are on the clock! Among our top needs are Wide Receiver, Offensive Linemen, Cornerbacks, and D-Linemen. In this article, I would like to focus on Wide Receivers.
Allen Robinson is out of the door which leaves us with Mooney, Pringle, Brown, Newsome, Coulter, and Webster. Outside of the first few, it can sound pretty underwhelming.
If you have read our previous articles, you have seen a few scouting reports on receivers. This wide receiver class in my opinion is a good one. The Chicago Bears have already met with at least two wide receivers in the top thirty visits according to CBS Sports. These receivers are Jalen Nailor and Tyquan Thornton(who is a very fast receiver). This is of course due to the fact that we do not have a first-round draft pick. I am not mad at that by the way. I am extremely happy that we took Justin Fields. He is an extremely smooth athlete and passer who throws the ball beautifully(yes I am aware that there are some things that he has to fix). He is almost like a Quarterback version of Matt Forte when it comes to fluidity. I desire that we take a receiver and an offensive lineman with our first two picks. I have added a poll to this.
