Renowned graphic designer Emily Morgan has gained a substantial following on social media for her inventive reimaginings of college and professional sports team logos. Some of her recent projects include redesigns for the Dallas Cowboys, New England Patriots, and Ohio State Buckeyes logos.
In her latest endeavor, Morgan brought a fresh twist to the iconic fleur-de-lis logo of the Saints. She incorporated a Jester's hat, paying homage to the city's rich Mardi Gras tradition. Additionally, she ingeniously integrated the shape of the team's home venue, the Caesars Superdome, into the design.
Morgan's work extended to redesigned logos, jerseys, and helmets, all featuring this custom-made emblem:
The fleur-de-lis has served as the Saints' primary logo since their inaugural season in 1967. The first modification occurred in 2000 when they transitioned from a black-colored fleur-de-lis to a golden-colored one with white and black accents.
Following a frustrating 20-13 road loss to the Houston Texans, the Saints are aiming to climb back above .500 as they prepare to host the Jacksonville Jaguars at the Superdome. The game will be featured on Amazon Prime Video's "Thursday Night Football" program.
After their encounter with the Jaguars, Derek Carr and the Saints will embark on a Week 8 road trip to Indianapolis for a rematch against the Indianapolis Colts, revisiting the site of Super Bowl 44.
