This could greatly help the Bears offensive line

Adam Schefter has announced on Tuesday that the Colts are not expected to re-sign left tackle Eric Fisher. Could he be a short-term solution for the Bears while they look for young talent at the position?

Fisher is coming off a 68.2 graded 2021 season (per Pro Football Focus). This is a decent grade but on the lower side for Fisher who has been a reliable tackle. His 2020 season was graded at 80 and many factors could explain his temporary drop. He was coming off a torn Achilles and it was also his first year in that system. Everything points to Fisher improving during the 2022 season and could be of great help for the Bears. He could sure-up that Oline while they build around younger players.
