He finished the 2022 season with an overall grade of 75.9 (per Pro Football Focus) which ranks with the top tackles in the league. He did miss a couple of games due to injury so this will lower his price and make him attainable for the Bears' front office. When he is on the field, however, he is without a doubt an elite left tackle.
The best bet for the Bears would be to sign him to a short to medium-term deal and let him anchor the left side of the line for fields. He would also be a great mentor for the young linemen drafted last year and the ones that will certainly be drafted this year.
