Khalil Mack was once a feared and respected elite pass rusher who terrorized opposing offenses. His loss would represent a significant loss talent-wise for the bears' front seven but with Robert Quinn having a career year, the loss could be negated. Let's not forget Trevis Gibson who had a very promising second-year filling in for Mack. The Bear's front seven did not seem to be affected too much by the loss of Mack and continued to put up very respectable numbers.

With only 2 picks in the first 4 rounds of the 2022 draft, the Bears could use some extra draft capital. With so many needs needing to be addressed, the bears cant expect to do much with the capital they have. Here are 2 possible destinations for the outside linebacker:

Atlanta Falcons

An interesting trade that could happen for the Bears could involve star wideout Calvin Ridley. Ridley has openly declared he wants out of Atlanta and Chicago could be a fresh start. A combination of Ridley plus late round picks could entice the Bears in pulling the trigger and they could then focus on O-line during free agency and the draft.

Philadelphia Eagles

The eagles have 3 first round picks in the 2022 draft. This much capital could make them eager to make a trade for an elite pass rusher concidering the mediocre season their front seven had in 2021. One of their first-rounders plus a third round pick could be of astronomical value for the Bears who could attack the O-line need in the first round.
