During ESPN's broadcast of the Baltimore Ravens-Houston Texans Divisional Round game on Saturday, Troy Aikman made an intriguing comment regarding Jim Harbaugh's future. The Michigan Wolverines' head coach was in attendance at M&T Bank Stadium to support his older brother, John Harbaugh, and the Ravens. ESPN's cameras captured Harbaugh watching the game from a suite, prompting Aikman to offer his thoughts on the 60-year-old coach.

Harbaugh has recently interviewed with the Atlanta Falcons and Los Angeles Chargers for potential coaching positions. However, the Falcons seem to be nearing a deal to hire former New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick for their head coaching vacancy.

Aikman expressed his hope to see Jim Harbaugh return to the NFL next year, acknowledging Harbaugh's track record of success at various coaching stops, including his early coaching career at the University of San Diego. Aikman believes that Harbaugh would make an excellent football coach in the NFL, given his history of winning in different coaching roles, including his tenure with the San Francisco 49ers from 2011 to 2014, where he led the team to multiple NFC title game appearances and a Super Bowl appearance in 2013.
