The first one is actually a former coach from the Chicago Bears, Steve Wilks. He coached the defensive back for the Bears from 2006 to 2008. He then spent some time for the Panthers, Chargers and the Browns.
The other coach added to the lawsuit is Ray Horton, an NFL assistant since 1994 who interviewed for the Tennessee Titans head coaching job in 2016.
The lawsuit, started by Brian Flores was filed against the NFL, the Dolphins, the Denver Broncos, the New York Giants, the Houston Texans, the Titans and the Cardinals, plus 26 other "John Doe" NFL teams. The Titans, Cardinals and Texans were added to the suit as part of the amendment as well.
ESPN Senior Writer Kevin Van Valkenburg mentioned that "Flores' attorneys allege in the amended complaint that the Texans "retaliated" against Flores by removing him from consideration for their head coaching vacancy "due to his decision to file this action and speak publicly about systemic discrimination in the NFL."
Steve Wilks released a statement on the subject this morning:
Brian Flores has been in the headlines due to this situation for a while now. Since the filing of Flores' original complaint, the 41-year-old has been hired by the Pittsburgh Steelers to serve as a senior defensive assistant and linebackers coach. Also, the National Football League has announced changes to the Rooney Rule, including a requirement that each team must either employ a woman or a minority coach as an offensive assistant.
