After the Bears finished their TNF matchup against the Commanders with a win, all the talk has been about QB Justin Fields' great performance.
Fields finished the game going 15/29, along with 282 passings yards and 4 touchdowns. He was on fire all game, and everyone is noticing it.
After the game, NFL Network's Kyle Brandt noted about Fields' performances in the past 2 games, and even compared them to Bills QB Josh Allen:
Allen is considered to be one of the top QBs in the NFL, so a comparison like this is pretty sweet, especially after much discussion whether Fields is fit to be a starting QB or not.
Before the 40-20 win from TNF, media around the NFL were debating if the Bears should trade Fields away or not, but now, I think the Bears will stick with him.
Fields has the potential of being an elite QB in the NFL, but he needs help. The O-line must step up if we want to see any success, and if they do, then Fields will truly be able to show his true potential.
