WATCH: Old Video of Chase Claypool Has Resurfaced on Social Media and Going Viral

In June of 2022, former Bears WR Chase Claypool made a claim that has resurfaced on social media.
In an episode of "I Am Athlete" from the 2022 offseason, Claypool told the guys that he considers himself a top 3 WR. Watch the clip:
During the time, Claypool was playing for the Steelers and was entering his 3rd year with the team. He was known as being a solid WR who enjoyed dancing on TikTok.
Though he was considered to be a good WR, no fans or analysts believed him to be a top 3 WR, not even a top 10. Now, however, this clip is getting more attention because he is currently seen as one of the worst WRs in the NFL.
After being traded to the Bears during the 2022 season, Claypool's performance declined, and has looked lazy and untalented on the field.
Things got even worse early on in this season, where Claypool was flopping, not making blocks, talking trash on his team, and simply just looked bad.
After being benched for both week 4 and week 5, the Bears traded Claypool away for a draft pick. Though he is getting another chance in Miami, the media is still trolling him for his "top 3 WR" comment:
But hey, maybe he will prove himself as a better WR with the Dolphins.
