After the Bears made a headliner trade for Commanders DE Montez Sweat, the million dollar question has been: Will the Bears extend his contract?
Sweat is currently in his last year of his contract, meaning if he does not agree to a contract extension after the season, then Sweat has the opportunity to leave Chicago.
With this idea looming, we are all hoping that Sweat re-signs with the team and remains on the Bears after the 2023 season. If the Bears do extend him, the question then would be: how much?
