Earlier this offseason, former Bears QB and 3-time Pro Bowler Andy Dalton signed a two-year $10 million contract with the Panthers.

The Panthers then drafted QB Bryce Young as their first overall pick at the 2023 NFL draft, and placed Dalton as the backup QB.

Since the beginning of the season, Young has not looked good, and the Panthers are currently at the bottom of the standings, with a 1-7 record. Young has thrown 7 interceptions and 3 fumbles, and things are looking bad.

Because of this season already looking over, Panthers fans are asking for a switch, and to bench Young and start Dalton:

Dalton, who is 36 years old, is currently in his 13th season of the NFL. He is a vet of the league who knows how to pull off wins. He has been apart of winning teams and has made 4 playoff appearances. He understands the game better than anyone on that team, and the fans want to see him on the field.

Young could learn from the vet, so maybe benching him would be best for the rookie.
