As seen in the tweet, Rank believes these next games are not about if Justin Fields is the Bears QB or not, but rather, is a warning towards the coaches.
All season, the blame has been thrown onto several different people, including Fields, but after that Lions loss, it is looking like there is only one person to blame...head coach Matt Eberflus.
So far in his two seasons with the Bears, Eberflus has a record of only 6 wins with 22 losses. He is 6-22, and he needs to go. Fields looked amazing on Sunday, but when the team needed good play-calling the most, the coaches chocked, and lost the Bears the game.
These next seven games are now all about seeing what the coaches can do, and if the Bears continue to lose, then it is time to move on.
