Cowherd conveyed, "I received a call from the Caleb Williams camp, and they were like, 'Whoa, whoa, whoa, hold on. Colin, we don't want to be portrayed as anti-Chicago, and we don't want to be seen as anti-Bear.'"
This revelation is reassuring news for the Bears, as it would have been a disastrous scenario if they selected Williams with the first overall pick, only for him to refuse to play. Now that his camp is dispelling such speculation, it appears that Caleb Williams is open to being drafted by almost any team.
