Bears CB Jaylon Johnson Speaks on Trade Rumours Ahead of Deadline
As the trade deadline is approaching shortly, many of us are wondering if and who the Bears will trade.
Recently, there has been rumours about the Bears getting rid of some of their defensive backs, including CB Jaylon Johnson.
As revealed by Bears reporter Mark Grote, Johnson told the The Parkins & Spiegel Show:
"The Bears gotta do what's best for them, & I gotta do what's best for me. I'm not forcing anything. I won't. Of course as I've been saying since day 1, I wanna stay here. This is my first team, my home..."
Johnson does not seem too concerned about the possibility of being traded, but made it clear that he is happy in Chicago.
Since being drafted by the Bears in 2020, Johnson has only ever played in Chicago. In 43 games played with the Bears, Johnson has a total of 137 tackles, 32 pass deflections, 3 forced fumbles, and 1 interception.
