On Thursday, the Miami Dolphins revealed that they have moved cornerback Jalen Ramsey, running back Jeff Wilson Jr., and offensive lineman Robert Jones to the injured reserve list.

This sidelines the trio for at least the first four games of the 2023 season, making them eligible to return in Week 5 against the New York Giants. The team also announced new signings: cornerbacks Justin Bethel and Parry Nickerson, along with tight end Tyler Kroft.

Ramsey, who was traded to the Dolphins in a headline-grabbing deal with the Los Angeles Rams earlier this year, recently underwent meniscus surgery on his left knee and is expected to be out until December. Robert Jones, an undrafted free agent signed in 2021, played in 16 games last season and started in seven. Jeff Wilson Jr. joined the Dolphins midseason last year in a trade with the San Francisco 49ers, who had just landed star running back Christian McCaffrey from the Carolina Panthers.

The Dolphins, fresh off their first playoff appearance in six years, will kick off the 2023 season against the Los Angeles Chargers, led by Justin Herbert, on September 10.
