Despite this, the former Alabama quarterback had a strong response to his detractors during the event. "I've been this size, respectfully, my whole life," Young stated. "I know who I am, I know what I can do."

While Young cannot change his height, he remains confident in his abilities and will continue to focus on what he can control. He is currently considered the top quarterback in this year's class, having thrown for 3,328 yards and 32 touchdowns in fewer games than he played the previous season. Despite questions about his size, it is unlikely that any team will pass on him in the upcoming draft.
