Chase Claypool Seems to be Very Busy this Offseason, But Not with Football
Under a year ago, while on the popular YouTube show I Am Athlete, former Steelers WR Chase Claypool stated that he is a "top 3 wide receiver" in the NFL. He had a ton of confidence then and his stats helped him out with this narrative. That being said, Claypool was never seen as a top 3 WR, especially not right now.
Since being traded the Bears, Claypool has not looked good, as in 7 games played, he only had 14 receptions, 140 receiving yards, and 0 touchdowns. He has been disappointing, to say the least, and now fans are wondering if he is fully dedicated. With a lot to prove this season, I would think Claypool would be training and practicing every day, but it looks like he is busy with some other opportunities.
Videos and photos have been released of Claypool modeling in Paris. Claypool posted pictures on his Instagram, featuring him modeling and sitting front row at an event. His caption titled "always working" concerns many Bears fans, as he is cleary busy with other tasks:
Claypool is a public figure, with over 500k followers on Instagram, as well as 1.8 million on TikTok. He is a big name who brands want, and he is allowed to explore other opportunities. The issue here is that Claypool's career relies on this next season, and if he is not giving it his all, the Bears may trade or release him.
